Welcome to my space. I have to step out for a while, but will be back shortly. In the meantime, I will give you a blessing, and you may leave yours.
“I ask that today, you gain the mobility to be able to turn your face to the sun. That your lenses allow the light in, and your cells are able to process and store it and give you strength. May today bring you the opportunity to calibrate your reality – what is generously being offered to you, and your ability to receive and benefit from it. May you begin to haul on those heavy doors until they swing, slowly at first, pivoting on their massive hinges, angling outward farther and farther, making an opening wide enough to let the first load of treasures in a long caravan get through: supplies. Nourishment, comfort, beauty, reinforcements…
I ask for you that today you get word that all this is provided for you. That you are well loved and cared for, and the world is wide and deep and full.”
I am reminded of these lyrics from the song Be Ye Glad by M.K.Blanchard:
From the dungeon a rumor is stirring.
You have heard it again and again.
But this time the cell keys are turning,
and outside there are faces of friends.
And though your body lay weary from wasting,
and your eyes show the sorrow they’ve had.
Oh the love that your heart is now tasting
has opened the gate, Be Ye Glad.
I’ll be back in a bit. In the meantime, allow yourself some peace and some rest, and know that all is well.
